Enjoy 2 combined activities between hiking the Chimborazo volcano and rappelling down a 30 meter high canyon, Full day.
This rappelling is perfect for beginners, you don't need any experience.
You will learn about the local indigenous culture, their clothing, Kichwa language, with masks and folkloric dance with the guides.

PRICE: $70 X person (minimum 2 persons) discount for 3 and 4 persons, if you travel alone, ask us and we will help you.

Itinerary

08:00 We pick you up from your hotel in Riobamba or designated place.
08:45 Riobamba welcome cocktail (canelazo)
10:00 Acclimatization hike in the Chimborazo canyon or San Juan canyon, getting to know the flora and fauna, ideal for photography.
10:45 Arrival and registration at the Chimborazo Faunal Reserve (4300 masl)
11:15 Walk from the first refuge Carriel brothers (4800mnsm) to the second refuge Whymper (5000msnm) and for 10 minutes more we reach the lagoon condor cocha (5100msnm) but if your condition is very good we can walk more to the snow or the needles Whymper (5250msnm).
14:30 Descent by rappelling in the sector of the chorrera of a basalt wall of approximately 30 meters.
16:00 Lunch
16:30 Return to Riobamba
17:00 End of Tour
