Itinerary
Day 1
- 09:00 The trip starts at your hotel in Riobamba or at the designated place.
- 10:00 Short acclimatization hike at Urbina station at 3600masl and time to have a drink for the altitude at the high mountain refuge
- 11:15 Arrival at the starting point of the hike in the Urbina páramo at 3800 meters above sea level.
- 11:30 Walking 1 hour to 1h:30m approximately inside the Chimborazo reserve, Urbina paramo sector, northwest of Chimborazo.
- 13:00 Box lunch
- 14:00 Arrival at Urkuwasi at 4100 masl and rest in tents.
- 15:00 Hiking in the Chimborazo foothills
- 18:00 Dinner
- 19:00 Bonfire
Day 2
- 08:00 Breakfast.
- 08:30 Return to the starting point.
- 10:30 End of tour at your hotel or designated place.
