Enjoy 2 combined activities between the hike on the Chimborazo volcano and downhill biking and the visit to the Chimborazo Canyon, Full day.
We descend by bicycle from Primer Refugio del Chimborazo at 4800 meters above sea level through the dry sandy paramo, surrounded by vicuñas and flora to the indigenous village of San Juan at 2900 meters above sea level (28km).
There are 2 bike routes, fun-extreme route, or easy-calm route, you can choose from

We pick you up from your Hotel, airbnb, Terminal Terrestre or at the address indicated in RIOBAMBA, we can also pick you up in the city of Baños (additional price).
Videos with a Go Pro Hero 12 camera of the entire bike ride.
You will learn about the local indigenous culture, their clothing, Kichwa language, with masks and folkloric dance with the guides.

PRICE: $70 X person (minimum 2 persons) discount for 3 and 4 persons, if you travel alone, ask us and we will help you.

Itinerary

08:00 We pick you up from your hotel in Riobamba or designated place.
08:45 Riobamba welcome cocktail (canelazo)
10:00 Arrival and registration at the Chimborazo Faunal Reserve (4300 masl)
10:45 Walk from the first refuge Carriel brothers (4800mnsm) to the second refuge Whymper (5000msnm) and for 10 minutes more we reach the lagoon condor cocha (5100msnm) but if your condition is very good we can walk more to the snow or the needles Whymper (5250msnm).
13:30 Descent by bicycle from the first refuge at 4800 masl to the indigenous village of San Juan with a total of approximately 28 km, here we put on safety equipment such as elbow and knee pads.
14:30 In this bike route you can take pictures in the San Juan canyon (Chimborazo canyon with heights between 60-100m high) also the route is 28 kilometers to reach the village of San Juan, passing through the mountain road, accompanied by vicuñas and indigenous crops.

16:30 Return to Riobamba
